Prime Central London Riverside Manhattan Apartment

A total disaster: they make you fetch keys in another neighborhood and the flat was filthy Positive: The building is located in a great area, close to the metro, bus, and an express supermarket. It has a small balcony and a partial view of the river. Negative: Terrible management. They make you go pick up the key at some sketchy little shop a 15-minute walk from the apartment. It honestly can't get any worse than arriving with heavy bags and having to drag them to a completely different neighborhood just for your keys—and on top of that, they demand you return them to the exact same place before 10am. Not to mention how disgustingly dirty the apartment was when I arrived, plus the total lack of maintenance. No coffee maker, not a single amenity, and the towels were older than the building itself. In short, avoid this place at all costs

Vauxhall - one of the secret bases best suited for exploring London Positive: The host communicated exclusively through Booking.com and all information was smoothly and effectively relayed, all questions handled efficiently, and everything went exactly as it should - perfect! Many visitors to London may not realise that Vauxhall tube station is a perfect location from which to explore the city offering plentiful walking options into the centre, the best tube line (the Victoria line) for north/south travel, and a ton of bus options on top. Local bars and facilities are charming and allow for relaxation in the evening rather than being crammed into the overpriced, overfull central venues. The apartment itself was quiet, the balcony allowed a nice view of a garden space, fountain/water feature, and the River Thames itself. Facilities were all in A1 condition allowing for a longer stay, to eat, work, or chill out from the apartment.

Positive: This property was very easy to pick up the keys a nearby 24hr shop had them and I just used the code provided to pick them up. It was very handy for me as I arrived around 1am and I was worried I would be too late for anyone to see me.
